Hi! I’m Katie.

I build cultural campaigns, public activations and community programs that bring people together for shared experiences. I design and deliver comprehensive communication strategies and outreach projects for public and non-profit clients that inspire connection and foster engagement.

At my core, I am a community-builder — driven by my passion for creating meaningful social change. I’m an fervent arts and culture advocate and currently work as a Communications Specialist with Heritage BC.

In my down time, I can be found hustling at flea markets, adventuring with my family, swimming in the ocean, or tinkering on my temperamental ‘87 Westfalia camper, we affectionately call “Ziggy Frizzle Stardust”.

I have consulted on public sector projects with:

  • Province of BC

  • City of Vancouver

  • Squamish Nation

  • Metro Vancouver

  • Lu’ma Native Housing Society

  • City of Toronto

  • City of Richmond

  • City of Burnaby

I have had the privellage to work with some amazing non-profits including:

  • Vancouver Art Gallery (Vancouver)

  • Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto)

  • Heritage BC

  • Beakerhead (Calgary)

  • ArtStarts in Schools (Vancouver)

  • Anytx Community Arts Society (Calgary)

  • InterAccess Media Arts Centre (Toronto)

A lifelong learner, I also have a:

  • Master of Arts in Communications & Culture, University of Calgary

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media, (Honours), Toronto Metropolitan University
